DART Cuts Public Meetings Week 2: Plano, Cockrell Hill, Dallas, Farmers Branch, Highland Park, and University Park, it’s your turn!
The next round of cities get their chance to speak out against DART cuts is the week of the 16th!
Plano, Cockrell Hill, Dallas, Farmers Branch, Highland Park, and University Park, your meetings for the 14% service changes are the week of June 9! This is your chance to talk with DART staff and let them know how these cuts will impact you. Bring personal stories!
A lesson learned from the first round of meetings: Where is a straight line from the 5% GMP to the 14% cuts, this meeting is about service changes, not the GMP. Come prepared to speak out agains the cuts themselves.

Route 209, McKinney/Cole, through Dallas, discontinued
Route 234, Parker Road, through Plano, discontinued
Route 242, Walnut Hill, through Dallas, discontinued
Route 254, Legacy, through Plano, discontinued
Route 305, Express between downtown Dallas to Addison, discontinued
Route 383, Express between downtown Dallas and Lake Ray Hubbard, discontinued
South Dallas GoLink, discontinued
GoLink Zone to Zone Pilots, discontinued
Red, Blue, Orange, Green, and Silver Lines, significantly reduced frequencies
Most other busses, reduced frequencies
Do these cuts impact you? Come out and let DART staff know how it will harm you! Are these taking the cities and region in the wrong direction? Let DART staff know that too, and make sure city officials hear you as you do so. They need all the ammo they can get to take back to the board and tell the board that these cuts are bad for the riders, bad for the cities, bad for the region, and bad for DART!
